Overview

The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) is a flagship program by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, implemented through the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) and Board of Practical Training (BOPT). It offers practical, hands-on training to fresh graduates and diploma holders, enhancing their employability and bridging the gap between education and industry.

Eligibility

• Students:
  • Graduate or diploma holders in engineering or technology.
  • Should not have undergone prior apprenticeship training.
  • Must not have more than 3 years of work experience.
• Establishments:
  • Industries, businesses, government organizations, PSUs, etc.
  • Must be registered under the Apprentices Act.
  • Should provide necessary facilities and mentors for apprentice training.
